New Ride

Sadly, the Saturn finally conked out this week. We gave it all we had, but fixing it was going to cost more than the car was worth. So Tim got right on the ball and found a new car for our family...a 2013 Chrysler 200. It is definitely an improvement over the Saturn!

Henry's Baby Book

Henry's baby book arrived today!! After extensive Internet searching, and contemplation of making my own, we found this one on Etsy. Even in today's digital world, we still wanted an actual baby book to fill out and fill with mementoes. Can't wait to get started!

Thor The Dark World

We celebrated another good doctor's appointment by watching the new Thor movie tonight. We both really enjoyed it!!

February Date Night

Our February date was to cook dinner together. Well, since I'm on bedrest we improvised a little. I shredded the cabbage and chopped the onion for Runza casserole on the couch, while Tim cooked and put it together. We enjoyed our tasty meal!!

Hangin' Out

I wasn't sleeping...I swear! We're just enjoying a little family time watching The Avengers. (I'm making good use of bedrest time and rewatching all the Avengers movies in order.)

Look-Out

Sebastian loves having the shades open...now he can keep an eye on the comings and goings of the neighborhood (and the squirrels).

Another Snooze

Just another little nap on mama. Our ample daily snuggle time is one thing I will miss about bedrest.

Practicing

My lady friends threw us an informal baby shower at the house this evening. It was my kind of shower...laid back, tasty food, and good friends! Tim got to practice his baby skills with Oliver (and his twin sister Claire), one of our friend's babies.

Watching the Olympics

Sebastian and I are just chilling in bed, watching a little Olympic action.

What a nice day!

Nice weather finally coincided with a doctor's appointment day! What a nice afternoon to get out for a bit. And we had another good appointment-things are still looking good!

Zzzzz...

Both boys fell asleep early last night. After Tim rolled over, this is how Sebastian made himself comfortable.

Maternity Photoshoot

We had our favorite photographer visit today for a fun maternity photoshoot! Here we are at work. We'll share some of the resulting photos soon!

Polar Plunge

Today Tim went into Lake Cunningham for the Polar Plunge!  The team raised over $700 for the Special Olympics Nebraska!!

Sebastian finally decided to give his dental stick a try, after two days of sniffing it and then leaving it until after dinner.

Tim finally got to try a "spud" from McAlister's Deli, since the last time we went they were out of spuds. Boy was it tasty!!

Nurse Sebastian

Getting Closer!

Today Tim and Grandpa Jim got the crib put together and the curtains hung in the nursery! We're getting closer!

Yes, Sebastian is spoiled and gets to sleep in bed. Too bad he can't ever get comfortable...

Chill Puppy

Sebastian does not like snow taller than him... So I had to shovel him a potty area!

Just Chillin'

Sebastian cuddled up with me today, but mainly so I would scratch his belly. I'll take it.

Holdin' Hands

Sebastian likes having his mom home all day, but he really likes when his dad comes home and he can take a break from guarding the house. Tonight he laid on the couch and put his paw in Tim's hand.

Nursery
