A make-up post...

I realized today that I haven't posted for a couple days! After waking up with a high temp yesterday, Henry visited the doctor to find he had an ear infection and bad cold. So he's now on his first round of antibiotics (another not-so-fun first!) but feeling much better today. He got to hang out with Daddy yesterday and Mommiy today. As long as he wakes up without a fever tomorrow he'll head back to daycare (he's been fever free today, so fingers crossed!) We're just happy to see our happy baby slowly coming back. And Sebastian hasn't minded a couple extra "people at home" days either!

Still struggling

Henry still isn't feeling great. Besides his temp, the way I know he doesn't feel well is that he's not too interested in eating. And he's exhausted but he resists naps. So when he fell asleep on me like this, I just let him snooze. We'll see how he wakes up tomorrow (or in the middle of the night...)

Sick again :(

Henry's got another cold, accompanied by a little fever, which meant no daycare today. I hate seeing my baby sick, but he's definitely building up those antibodies!! Hoping he'll get a good night's sleep tonight.

Cuteness Overload!

Seriously...how cute are these two?! They stopped by to visit me during conferences at school, making the long day and evening much more bearable. And then I get this picture, making me smile even more. I am one lucky lady!

Henry got a Daddy and Grandma night while I was at parent-teacher conferences...it seems they all enjoyed themselves :)

Sleeping Baby

Henry had a case of the Mondays this morning and he did not want to wake up! I can't blame him...I didn't want to wake up either...

First food!

Henry tried cereal today. He, of course, wasn't quite sure what to do with it! But he gave it his best shot. I'm still amazed every day at how much he's growing and learning...he is so much fun!!!

Like Mommy (and Daddy) like son

Henry seems to be taking after his parents already...wanting to be in charge of the remote! ;-)

Fun Daddy-Henry Day

Daycare was closed today, so Henry got to hang out with Daddy all day!! They had a fun day (including a visit to school) and it must've been exhausting since Henry was passed out on the floor when I got home. Glad the boys got some quality time together today!

A rare snuggle

Henry has become a mover and shaker lately, so times when he quietly snuggles in my arms are much more rare. Even at night, he prefers to fall asleep in his crib rather than while being held. I definitely appreciate how confident and independent he is, but it does make me appreciate the rare snuggle even more!! Even when it's in the morning, making going to work less appealing...

Fun weekend

Sebastian got in on the fun this weekend, too. He got to come along to Firth yesterday to visit Grandpa, and he hung out with Daddy, Grandma and crew watching the Patriots game while Mommy napped. (I think the crud may finally be catching up with me...I'm trying to sleep it away!) Now we all have the Sunday night blues...weekends go too fast!!

Getting big!

Apparently I haven't used Henry's bouncy seat in awhile...I put him in it this morning and he looked so big!! Can't believe we will have a 5 month old tomorrow. Each day he amazes me more!

Still sniffling

Henry's about the same, and is taking an extra evening nap to try to fight off the sniffles. Once again, this mama isn't complaining!! I hate that my baby doesn't feel 100%, but I will never turn down extra snuggles.

Morning snuggles

Henry's feeling much better, but is still plenty stuffy. He woke up early this morning so we got a little extra snuggle time before work.

Feeling better!

Both Henry and Tim were feeling better today. Henry still slept quite a bit, but he was more playful and smiley than he was yesterday. Now this mama needs a day to recover!! But I'm thankful the boys are better!

Sick Day

It was a sick day around our house today...both Henry and Tim are fighting some nasty colds. That meant lots of extra snuggles, along with a couple extra lukewarm baths for Henry. Even his hair was feeling a little blah...

Another tiring puppy day

Sebastian sure does love it when we settle down and relax in the evenings! After a couple evenings spent at the car dealership, Sebastian was extra-ready for some snuggle time tonight.

This post is for yesterday (oops...) Henry really does like Sebastian. He likes to watch Sebastian and see what he's up to. And he likes to pet him, too. As for Sebastian...he's definitely gotten more comfortable with this strange, hairless puppy since we first brought him home! I think they'll grow to be great buds.

Tired puppy

Sebastian needed to recharge after a day of guarding the house. It's tough work being the one left at home!!

Newest Red Sox Fan

Henry donned his Red Sox gear today. There's a whole plan in place for his favorite sports teams...and heaven forbid he has his own opinions on the subject! Tim gets Red Sox baseball, Bruins hockey, and Patriots football on alternating weeks. I get Husker college football, Lakers basketball, and Chargers football on alternating weeks. Poor kid...
