I love watching Henry's face...he makes the cutest faces!! Here's a wide-eyed version...

Bonding...?

Sebastian still isn't too sure about this new being, but he is very tolerant! 

A growing boy!

Henry had his two week checkup today. His color is good, he's gained weight and has passed his birthweight, and everything else is looking good as well! We're thankful for a healthy, growing boy!

Playtime

Henry was awake this evening, and got to play on his turtle playmat/activity gym for the first time. And by play, I mean he laid on his back and gazed around. But he was entertained for a good 5 or 10 minutes! (Thanks again to Tom and Lisa for the playset!)

Sebastian Cuddles

I love my Henry cuddles, but I also still love my Sebastian cuddles. We don't have quite as much snuggle time as we did while I was pregnant, but today we took advantage of nap time together. Still love my fur baby!

Mama, you can't drive!!

This was Henry's face at the grocery store after I ran the cart into a display...I let Tim be in charge of the cart after that :)

Sometimes I open my eyes...

Although he sleeps a lot (just not at night), Henry does have his alert moments too. Once in awhile we get to see his eyes!

Little Mickey

At some point while I was on bedrest I sent Tim out to buy this outfit I had seen at Babies R Us. And I'm glad I did...I think we have a pretty darn cute (though slightly cranky) Mickey Mouse!

Family Walk

We took our first walk today, with both Henry and Sebastian. We didn't go too far, but we did make it to the park! 

Learning Young...

Henry is being introduced to Call of Duty tonight while he hangs with Daddy. So far he doesn't seem too impressed...choosing to snooze instead.

Just the beginning...

Now that Henry is eating regularly, the diaper changes have become more regular as well! We emptied the Diaper Genie today for the first of endless times, I'm sure :)

Love

It's amazing how much love we have for this sweet little guy. We are so blessed to be his parents!

An Outing!

We had an outing to visit the doctor this morning, just to check on Henry's jaundice. He is doing just fine! And all the ladies at the doctor's office oohed and aahed over Henry...but then, who wouldn't?!

Snuggles

I just can't get enough snuggles from this sweetie pie!

Our New Family

So we haven't posted for a few days...we were a little busy having and getting to know our new baby boy!! Henry Leland made his grand entrance at 9:32 am on 4/14/14, weighing 6 lbs 13 oz and measuring 21 inches long. We are head over heels in love, and got to bring him home today. Sebastian isn't quite sure what to make of all this, but he is glad to have his mama and papa home! We are happy to be home as well!

Tired...

Sebastian had a busy day today...playing outside, a car ride and visit to the pet store, a visit from two canine friends. He was so pooped that even getting petted was more than he could handle... (You may have to turn up the volume a bit to get the full effect.)  :)

Don't Leave Me!

Sebastian isn't too happy that my bedrest restrictions have been relaxed! I got home this evening and he made himself comfortable, and made sure I wasn't going anywhere...

A Day in the Life of Sebastian...

Sebastian had a busy day...chasing squirrels while Mama read outside, going for a walk, and getting in plenty of naps. A dog's life...

Clingy Puppy

Sebastian has been extra clingy lately...perhaps he senses that change is coming?? :)

Stylin'

We got Sebastian a new tag...that just happens to be a Captain America shield. We can't leave the soon-to-be big brother out of the fun!

Baby Shower Day

We had another wonderful shower today, this one hosted by Fern, Carissa, Cathie and Catherine. We, along with little Henry, have been spoiled!! We got more wonderful gifts, had great food (like the baby fruit bassinet) and good times. Now all we need is for Henry to decide it's time to meet us!

April Date with Captain America

We used our April date today to go see Captain America The Winter Soldier. It was fun to get out and see a movie in a real theater (and not just on the couch). And it was an awesome movie...possibly our favorite Avengers movie to date!! To top it all off, we got to see Trent's name in the credits. I'd say it was a successful date :)

Holy Yumminess!!

We made a trip to Cheesecake Factory tonight for a belated anniversary dinner (thanks again, Dad!)/pre-baby dinner. It was delicious, and fulfilled my craving!! And I even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We figured we'd better go soon, since there's no telling when little Mr. Henry will make his grand entrance.

Howdy

A puppy dog just chilling. It's such a rough life for Sebastian...cuddle with Mama until lunch time, watch out the window in between naps until about 2:30, get excited for dinner time, have dinner around 4, then hang out until it's time to get into bed. Oh to be a dog...
