A finished project!

I finally got my necklaces out of a pile on my closet shelf and hung up. Thanks to Pinterest for the idea of how to store my necklaces! (If only I could complete a small fraction of the projects I've pinned...)

Project day

I spent today doing some little projects...making new shelf markers for the library, making some magnets (well, decorating them), and making some boards to hang my necklaces from. 

Hammock

We finally set up the hammock today (after finding the pieces in several places throughout the garage.) Charlie kept jumping up and finally got himself comfortable. Silly boy!

We sat on the swing on the deck this afternoon. Charlie tried Tim's lap, and he tried my lap, but the space in the middle was just right.

CAR RIDE!

Tim needed an extra boost of caffeine this afternoon. As I went to leave to bring him coffee, Charlie looked at me with his saddest eyes. So I scooped him up and took him along for a ride before the other two could notice. Yeah...I'm definitely not the leader of this pack...

Once again, Sebastian allowed himself to snooze in close quarters with Murphy. I do love my dogs!

Successful Blood Drive!

We had our first memorial blood drive in honor of Henry today, and it was a great success! We had two news stations cover the story (KMTV and KETV), had around 70 people walk through the door to donate, and collected approximately 58 units of blood. Not too bad for our first try!

Tired pups

I'm not sure what they do all day, but it must be tiring...all three dogs are zonked and it's not even 9! (Charlie is already burrowed under the covers, which is why he doesn't show up in the photo...)

Nap time

Sebastian may think he's tough and independent, but he didn't seem to mind napping with Murphy this morning! (Charlie was buried under the blanket on my lap.) I do love summer!

Charlie in particular has kept quite close to me since I got home this afternoon. And I am certainly not complaining!

Missing my boys!!

I have loved my time in Cali, but I have missed my boys (all four of them!) I hope they're all ready for the hugs and snuggles to come when I get back tomorrow!!

Studio Tour

We took a tour of Paramount Studios today. It was fun to learn some of the history, and to see where some movies and TV shows have been shot.

Jamie and I had a fun play date with this sweet lady yesterday. Isabella was quite entertained with games of hide and seek. This was one of her hiding spots...

The boys got to go for a walk today, and then "helped" Daddy mow and do yard work. This was quite exhausting!

After an emotional morning, I took a little snooze with my boys. (And no, my butt isn't that big...that's where Charlie made himself comfortable!)

Squirrel!

I posted about this on Facebook today, and usually I try to post different pictures on here for those that follow us on both. But this is so good it needs to be shared twice! Murphy went "swimming" in an old pool from a pond the old owners had in the backyard and found a dead squirrel. He then proceeded to bring the squirrel inside, and pout when the squirrel wouldn't play with him. Although gross, it definitely gave us a good laugh (especially when I screamed like a little girl when Tim flipped it into a plastic bag to dispose of it!)
