Getting better about bath time

We've learned some tricks, and bath time has become slightly less traumatic. We keep Henry covered up with this cute little fish, uncovering one part at a time to wash. As long as the water is warm and he's mostly covered, he tolerates his bath :)

The Boppy

Along with the Diaper Genie and the Mamaroo, the Boppy pillow is one of our favorite items. As you can see, Sebastian enjoys it too.

My thumb!

Apparently I didn't get a pacifier quickly enough for Henry's liking...he has now discovered that he has a thumb!

Family Time

We enjoyed some family time today! Apparently Tim and I make pretty good pillows :)

Puppy Love

It's hard to tell, but Sebastian plopped himself down right on Henry! And Henry hardly even noticed. They seem to be getting along just fine. :)

Getting closer...

Sebastian is getting a little braver when it comes to being near Henry. Last night he gave Henry a couple licks, and today he decided he could snuggle with both Henry and me. He may be figuring out that Henry isn't going anywhere... :)

Henry tried to help Daddy study, but he found the material a little snooze-worthy...

Sleeping arrangements

For now, Henry sleeps in a bassinet by our bed. And he sleeps in a sleep sack...one of the best inventions ever! Yes, we could swaddle him with a blanket, but the sleep sack is just so easy and convenient. Even more importantly, Henry likes it. Before too long he'll be too big for his bassinet... 

Precious

I'm still soaking up these moments when Henry falls asleep in my arms. And you've gotta love that hair...

Not a shopping fan...

Henry got to do some shopping today. Shopping obviously does not excite him, however he did nap peacefully, thus allowing his parents to browse. :)

Don't forget about the puppy!

Poor Sebastian is probably feeling a little neglected these days. This morning he actually cuddled up with us on the couch, and this was the face he gave me when it was time to get up. I still love my fur baby!

Playtime

Henry had playtime again today, and this time he seemed more interested in the toys hanging down!

My three boys just hanging out this morning before Daddy had to go to work and Sebastian had to go get pampered at the pet spa. Henry and I held down the fort. 

Blowing Bubbles

It's possible that I forgot to post yesterday...oops!! This was Henry blowing some bubbles as we were just hanging out. He's getting bigger...mom's not ready for him to grow up!!

Cutie

He really is a cutie...his socks say so! He got dressed up a little for Auntie Carissa's graduation from UNO. Next to her, he was the star of the show!

He's Awake!

Here's an example of the awake and alert Henry. I have fun just watching him look around! (Which is a good thing...he doesn't do much else yet!)

Playtime

Another one of Henry's fun toys (made by Leo Benes!) Henry doesn't necessarily do a lot of "playing" yet, but he does enjoy staring at all the toys hanging down. He is awake more these days, and becoming more interested in his surroundings. 

Helping Daddy

Henry and I went on an outing today to the mall. I managed to get the stroller set up and folded down all on my own!! On the way home we stopped to see Daddy at work. Henry's training early!

What's This??

Henry has been awake and alert more lately, and he's fun to watch! Today he seemed to be discovering his hand.

So little!

We washed our sheets and rotated our mattress today. Before re-making the bed, we put Henry on it. He looks so little on our California king bed!! He definitely fits better in his bassinet. :D

Nap time

Henry was hanging out in the Boppy in my lap, and decided it would be a good place to take a nap...
