It started off with a boy and a girl. When they first started hanging out, the girl got butterflies in her stomach. They dated, they got engaged, and they got married. There have been happy times and sad times, but the girl still gets butterflies. Now they have added to their family. They have their angels Brady and Henry watching over them, and their fur-babies Sebastian, Murphy and Charlie to keep things interesting. Enjoy these pictures, as a peek into the daily life of our family.

Just like old times
This evening Sebastian cuddled up with me just like he did when I was pregnant. His pillow was just a little smaller...

My baby is growing!
Today I packed up Henry's newborn clothes. He is definitely growing, as some of his 0-3 month clothes will soon be outgrown! I'm glad he's healthy and growing, but it was a little bittersweet packing up his extra tiny clothes! Here's Henry back when he barely fit into his tiny clothes...

Birthdays are exhausting...
Henry was a trooper on Mommy's birthday today. He made it through a walk along Gene Leahy Mall, shopping, and dinner. He got to relax a little in between, napping on Mommy. I'm so thankful for this little man!

Like Daddy, Like Son
We enjoyed having Daddy home today! Working ten hour days is hard, but I definitely appreciate having Tim around an extra day each week.

Shopping with Henry
Henry and I went shopping today for necessities (like formula and wipes). We came across a clearance section (always dangerous!) I handed Henry this toy to see if he liked it, and he wouldn't let go! So we ended up buying it :) (He does like it, even if it doesn't look like it in the picture...)
Our fur baby
Although Sebastian doesn't get quite the same amount of mama cuddles, he at least has company during the days. He won't know what to do with himself once summer is over and I actually have to go to work again!

Toys!
As Henry becomes more alert and aware, he also is slowly becoming more interested in toys. He grasped and held onto this one for a short time!

Who needs sleep?
This was my lovely son wide awake after his bottle at 1:30 a.m. Luckily he finally decided going back to sleep wasn't such a bad idea.

Sweet baby face
Seriously...I just can't get enough of this! I could sit and watch Henry all day. (And sometimes I do!)

Two month doctor visit
Henry had his two month appointment today. He weighs 10 lbs 10 oz (9th percentile) and is 22 inches (6th percentile). He may be little but he is perfectly healthy! He also got FIVE shots, which was harder on us and the nurses than it was on him, I think. Here he is sporting his Scooby Doo band aids. He's our little trooper!

Future gamer
Henry is learning the Xbox ropes early! He wanted to play Daddy's new UFC game, but his hands won't quite reach around the controller yet...

Youngest summer library participant
Henry and I went to school today to help with summer library. We read about aliens and underpants, and made Henry an alien headband. I'm not sure he was as amused as mommy was, but he behaved very well!

Super Dad!
We enjoyed a busy Father's Day together, starting in Firth and ending with ice cream. We also made time for a visit to both Nana and Brady. By the end of the day (at the end of a busy weekend) we had one tired baby!

Bouncy Seat
I have discovered another baby gadget that I love. This is actually a hand-me-down bouncy seat that also vibrates and plays music. Henry loves it! (Which means that I do too...) And yes it's in the bathroom...the lengths moms will go to get a shower :)

Bed hog
If Sebastian beats me to bed, he always chooses my pillow as the place to get comfy. And this is the face I get when he is asked to move...

Morning smiles
Henry was smiling this morning as he lay in his crib watching his new mobile animals. Overall, he does seem to be a pretty happy baby...I'd say we're pretty lucky parents!

Napping
I've been working on putting Henry down for naps...usually in his MamaRoo. We were downstairs today, so he got to nap in his pack and play. He actually did quite well! He even laid in it happily for a bit after he woke up. What a big boy!

A Growing Boy
Henry was snoozing in his car seat while we were out to dinner tonight, and it looked a lot like a picture we took before leaving the hospital. Here are the two pictures side by side...the first at about 2 days old, the second at going on eight weeks old. He has definitely grown!

All smiles!
And we have smiles! Henry started smiling over the weekend. It is heart-warming to see his adorable baby smiles!

Helper
This is how Henry helped me do laundry and a few other things around the house today. He enjoyed himself, just looking around and taking things in.

Big Boy!
Henry has been sleeping in his crib for about a week now! He has done very well with the transition. He's still up once or twice to eat at night, but he eats and goes back to sleep pretty easily (knock on wood!)
Daddy's boy
Sebastian enjoyed some Daddy cuddles before work this morning. (This was supposed to post Friday, but apparently it failed to upload!)
Walking Walnut Creek
This post is for yesterday, since I realize I forgot to post! We went for a family outing to Walnut Creek for a walk. The path around Walnut Creek is 3 miles. We all made it-even poor little Sebastian. He only tried to give up once we were about 10 feet from the car, where he sat in the shade and refused to move. He finally made it to the car, sat on the floor by the vent and was content!
