Another first...

...but not the kind we want! Poor Henry has his first fever. It's a pretty mild one, but he just doesn't feel well. Being first time parents, of course we took him to the doctor but it seems that it's just a little cold. Hopefully the little guy feels better soon!!

Hi everyone!

He may be getting bigger (and bigger and bigger!) but Henry is still happy to snuggle. I'm taking extra advantage of this now before I have to go back to work next week!

Trying hard...

Henry is trying so hard to roll from his back to his tummy! He's got belly to back down pat. Today he was trying for several minutes. He'd get so close, and then get stuck. I'm sure he'll keep trying!

Yawn!

Henry was so excited to go to daycare for the first time this morning that he woke up just after 5. This made for a tired baby (and mommy!) But Henry did great-Carrie asked if he's always so good (which he really is). Just a baby step, but at least it was a good one. :)

I love Daddy's stories!

Henry loves it when Tim talks to him...he just lights up. These two will always have a very special bond. 

Buddies

Henry was "petting" Sebastian today (more technically, he was waving his arms and his hand landed on Sebastian...) Sebastian, who grumbles even when he enjoys getting petted, sat quietly and let Henry do his thing without getting bothered. Perhaps they'll become buddies eventually :)

Travels

This was supposed to be Saturday's picture, but for some reason it didn't post. So since nothing exciting happened today as we returned to reality, I'll use this picture! I can't get over what a great traveler Henry was. He did great on our flights, slept well at night and for naps, had no problem being passed around and being held by many different people, and has settled back into home life without a problem. So far he seems to be quite the adaptable little fellow!

Back home

We made it safely back home after a couple minor delays. Once again, Henry was a great traveler!! It's nice to be home, but we're a little sad that vacation went so fast...back to reality we go.

Water Baby

Henry has loved water in Florida...enjoying time in the pool and in the ocean! Then of course he needed to unwind and relax.

Bonding

It's been nice for Tim to have some extra bonding time with Henry! He's such a good daddy, and I love watching him with Henry. 

Beach baby

Henry seemed to enjoy the beach and the very warm ocean waters! This is him after his swim...snuggled in his towel for a little rest. 

Yay for vacation!

Henry is ready for his first vacation...and I think Mom and Dad are too. We're keeping our fingers crossed for smooth travels and a happy baby! 

Henry's growing up!

Henry, who is now 3 months and a few days, is becoming quite the big boy!! He has now rolled over many times from front to back, rolling to both sides. He is also much more interested in his playmats, pictures on the wall, and even doing tummy time (until he remembers he can roll over.)  It's so much if to watch him grow and figure out new things!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Sebastian got in on the birthday celebrations today, too, staking his claim next to Tim on the couch.

Visiting Daddy

(For yesterday...) We stopped to see Daddy at work today. Henry was sleeping until he heard his daddy's voice, then he woke up all smiles!

Chatting with Henry

While I was pumping this morning Henry FaceTimed with me. He was chatting and smiling away! (Pardon my just out of bed appearance...)

Golf outing

Henry got all dressed up for our golf outing today for Daddy's birthday (thanks to Aunt Carissa for the awesome hat and Grandma for the Mickey sunglasses!) Henry slept through 9 holes, while Mommy realized how out of shape she is!  But we had a good time, despite our dismal scores... 

Tummy time!

First of all, my apologies for the lack of posts the last couple days!! Hopefully I won't be quite so forgetful in the future, but I can't promise anything... Today Henry enjoyed some tummy time with Daddy. Here he was watching to see what Daddy was doing.

Happy shopper

Henry and I did a little wandering at Target today. Henry seemed to have a good time...quite the trooper :)

First Dentist Visit

No, Henry didn't actually have to go to the dentist. He just hung out with Daddy while I got an overdue cleaning! But technically, it was his first trip to the dentist... 😉

Family time

I was trying to get a picture of all my boys, but Sebastian didn't want to cooperate! We've had a great family weekend so far-4th festivities yesterday with Grandma, Uncle Will, Aunt Catherine, Aunt Carissa and Uncle Adam, then a visit to Firth to see Grandpa and Taz today. We even got to FaceTime with Aunt Jamie! Hopefully we can relax and unwind tomorrow...but we'll see... :)

Uh-oh...

It seems we already have a tv watcher on our hands. I think he just likes the colors and light...hoping anyway! We were hanging out in the bedroom this morning and he twisted himself around so he could see the tv. Oh dear!

Naps

I'm still working on getting Henry to nap somewhere besides our arms. It's a slow process, but we're making progress. Today he slept for a few 20-30 minute stretches (waking in between) in his crib. His favorite spot to nap is still in our arms...and I enjoy that too! But we'll keep working on this :)

Playtime

Today I got smart and combined Henry's bouncy seat with his toy gym. He seemed to enjoy it!

Henry's first "lovey"

Henry always grasps onto his burp cloth during and after bottles, so I finally thought to get one of his "loveys" out. Today was the first day we really used it, and Henry seems to have taken to it.
