Happy Halloween!!

Henry didn't get to trick-or-treat on his first Halloween, but he did get to visit both Grandma and Grandpa at work, and he was a hit! He's our favorite monster, that's for sure.

Getting bigger

Henry sat in his first restaurant high chair tonight...he's growing up!! (Luckily he still has some growing up to do too.) :)

Slacking again...

Henry played peek-a-boo all on his own today, and thoroughly enjoyed himself...silly boy!

I'm not entirely convinced this is my child...he wakes up smiling every morning (and usually with stories to tell.) His smiling face does help me with my mornings.

Henry was ready to eat tonight...but wasn't very successful at getting any milk this way...

Daycare Fun!

Carrie sent us this picture today...our little artist at work painting his pumpkin. I can't say enough how happy I am that Henry has someplace so wonderful to go while we're at work!

This is Henry's current version of sitting up...he can do it for short moments, then just goes for his toes.

Exhausting (but fun) weekend

After a visit to Grandpa's booth at the Norris craft fair yesterday, and a trip to the pumpkin patch with Grandma, Aunt Carissa and Uncle Adam today, Henry was plain worn out! He zonked out while watching football. I may have taken a little snooze as well...

Remembering

Today's been a bit of a tough day...the year anniversary of Mom's passing. Even though she's no longer physically here, the memories live on. One of my favorites showed up in Timehop a couple weeks ago. She was so proud of her homemade "NEB" shirt. I miss her every day, and am so thankful that she's my mom. (Don't mind those silly Buckeye fans in the picture...they're sadly misguided.) :)

Henry is so good! We went to dinner tonight (boneless wing Thursday!) and Henry entertained himself by watching everything that was going on (and the TVs on every side...)

I may be growing up but I'm still silly

Henry is six months old today! He has definitely entered the stage of putting EVERYTHING in his mouth. Who needs a pacifier when you have a burp cloth??

Six month check up

Henry had his six month check up today, along with a follow-up check on his ear infection. His check up went perfectly. Unfortunately, the ear infection is either still sticking around or went away and he got a new one. Due to this, he had a shot of antibiotics in addition to his immunizations. But he's a trooper...a couple snuggles and he was smiling. He also got a breathing treatment to help his cough and wheezing. Hopefully these will do the trick and we can get our baby back to healthy!

Big boy!!

Henry isn't sitting up by himself quite yet, but he does sit up pretty well with assistance (even if the assistance comes from a couch!)

Who needs toys?

Henry passed on his toys tonight...he preferred playing with Mommy's hair instead. Good thing he's cute!

Sweet sleeping baby

Henry must have had a busy day at daycare today...he fell asleep in my arms before 7:00! I'm certainly not one to complain. Sweet baby boy!

Bananas!

We're still testing out solid foods. Tonight we tried bananas. Henry still isn't quite sure what the fuss is all about, but he did actually get a little bit of bananas down, as opposed to spitting it all out, like he did with cereal. Regardless of what Henry thinks, mom and dad are having fun!

Our little monster

Our little monster is growing fast! We got out the next size of clothes for him, including these pjs which are already almost too small!! Hopefully the rest of the clothes are a little roomier...

Seeing more smiles!

Henry's continuing to feel better. We're even getting some smiles and giggles again! He's still fighting a cough, but he's much better than he was even a few days ago.

Worn out!!

Henry made it through the whole day at daycare, but it definitely wore him out! This is how I found him when we got home (and keep in mind, daycare is maybe a mile, two at most, from our house.)

Like mama like doggy

Just some pre-bedtime shenanigans. We're ready to relax and regroup a little this weekend!!

Another at home day

Henry woke up with a fever again today. We made another visit to the doctor, and his ear infection actually got worse instead of better! We're trying a different antibiotic now, hoping that might take care of it. Henry's acting better...eating more normally, chatting away...we just need to kick this fever and ear infection!
