Handy

We had a bit of a mishap at school today, leading to a computer cart ending up on its side. Luckily, nothing was broken and with a bit of elbow grease we got the cart back in operation. Never a dull moment!

Okay...seriously...I am trying to get back in the habit!! Today this one gave me some extra love while I was feeling cranky. He's a sweet boy!

A dog and his bone

I guess every other day is a good start... Murphy literally buries his bones, sometimes inside and sometimes outside. Most of the time he forgets where he has stashed his bones. He found this one outside, as it had dirt on it and grass hanging down. Never a dull moment around here!

It's been awhile...

...since I've posted on here!! I'm going to *try* to get back in the habit of sharing a photo a day. Today I worked on catching up on The Walking Dead. Since our DVR messed up one of my missed episodes, I had to use my NEW iPad to watch it. Did I really need a new iPad?? No. But do I like it? Yes indeed!!

Tim and I picked up book fair decorations from Helen today. We got them all in the Journey with JUST enough room for the two of us!

Tim and I, along with a couple friends, went to see the movie Deadpool today. We both loved it!!

I finally got the gumption to try Jamberry nails. Thanks to some advice from my friend and Jamberry consultant, it was a pretty smooth process. And I LOVE how they turned out.

We enjoyed a lovely snow day here in Papillion, complete with waffles for breakfast, cupcakes, a little reading and Netflix, and of course lots of doggy snuggles. It's hard to beat the laziness of a snow day!

The boys were pooped after a whole day and evening of guarding the house. They were happy to snuggle up with dad! (Charlie's mostly hidden under the blanket, but he's there too.)

Staycation Getaway

At the Angels Among Us gala, Tim and I bid on and won a staycation basket in the silent auction. We finally used our night at the Sheraton this weekend. It was nice to get away without having to go too far.

I got my new computer for work this week...a Surface Pro 3. So far I am absolutely loving it!! I think my teachers will be pleasantly surprised :)

Football Sunday

Our lazy football Sundays will soon be plain old lazy Sundays...and I will miss that football piece until September!! Charlie and Sebastian (and Murphy too) don't care so much about the football part as long as we keep the lazy part.

Fights...

Charlie wasn't a big fan of the fights tonight either. It's rare that I watch UFC, and tonight was only because one of the guys fighting used to train with Tim. One fight and I was done!

Tired boys

All the boys took a nap this afternoon while I spent some time reading with football on in the background. Not a bad New Year's Day!
